PAWS is in need of volunteers to foster New Leash On Life dogs for 3-4 weeks prior to their entering the NLOL program at the prison. The cost of dog food, supplies, and vet visits while in foster care will be paid by PAWS. If foster families desire to adopt the dog after graduation from the program, they will be given the right of first refusal. Applicants will be carefully screened, with a home visit and Meet & Greet, similar to our adoption protocol.
