​Oakley has found his forever family.

Meet this beautiful ginger. Oakley (aka Santa's Little Helper) is a young, sweet mixed breed guy. We are not sure of his exact breed but the shelter listed him as a boxer mix. We think he may have some Visla in him due to his beautiful color and his temperament. He is gentle-mannered and lively but extremely affectionate. He is only 40lbs and is the perfect medium size dog. He is good in the car and at the vet. He loves everyone he meets.

Oakley entered the 8-week New Leash on Life Program in Jan. He will graduate in March 2023 after learning basic obedience, leash training, and social skills. He will also receive training in basic agility. He already loves the agility course probably because he knows he will get some good treats once he jumps through the hoop. He is eager to learn.
