Seven months after the loss of our "perfect" dog, Molly, Daisy's photo was in the paper as a New Leash on Life pet available for adoption. We arranged to meet her, but she didn't seem very impressed with us. We decided to adopt her anyway.
At the graduation ceremony, she demonstrated her new-found skills, further endearing us to her. Once at home, after a short adjustment period, she wrapped us around her little paws. She bonded instantly with her new dad , and follows him everywhere. Her favorite place is on the back of his easy chair, wrapping herself around his neck like a boa. She also likes to cuddle at nap time.
eing crate trained, she runs to her crate whenever we leave the house and never whines or cries. She's very smart and loves to perform the "tricks" she learned while in the the NLOL training program and the new ones we taught her. She's also very vocal. She tries hard to communicate and understands virtually everything we say to her.
We're so grateful for the N.L.O.L. program; she certainly filled a void and we can't imagine being without her
