Hello, my name is Alice. I will be graduating from the New Lease on Life program in mid August 2018. I am about 7 months old and believed to a mix of Beagle/Chihuahua. The shelter that I came from said shepherd mix, but no one thinks I am going to get that big.
Alice was an owner turn-in. Her previous owner moved out of the country and was unable to take Alice with her. She is great with other dogs and kids (8 and up) but we are unsure of how she is around cats.
Alice has a beautiful coat that reminds you of chocolate. She is a lot of fun, always has a smile on her face and loves her treats. She is very lovable and if allowed, she would like to be a lap dog .
If you would like to adopt Alice, please fill out an application (found below her photo) or call Sue at 252-626-3899 or Kathy at 703-819-8835.
If you would like to sponsor Alice, please call 252-745-PAWS (7297) or visit our DONATE page. You can pay all or part of the $250 sponsorship fee. The money will be used toward Alice's spay/neuter fees, shots, vet costs, food and supplies while she is in the NLOL Program.
All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered. When they graduate from the New Leash on Life program, they will have 8 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
